Privacy, Terms, and Refund Policy

Overview

These policies explain how the Profile Picture Downloader Chrome extension (“the Extension”) handles information, payments, support, and refunds. The Extension works with publicly visible current profile pictures selected by the user.

The Extension does not collect TikTok passwords, private messages, cookies, or unrelated browsing history. It does not sell personal information or use information for advertising.

Privacy

• Profile and image data. The username, public profile page, and profile picture URL needed for a requested preview or download are processed by the Extension and TikTok. They are not sent to our membership service and are not stored by us.
• Free usage. Chrome sync storage keeps only the number of successful free HD profile picture views, capped at five. A view is recorded after the Extension resolves the public profile picture and returns it for display. Downloading that displayed picture does not use another view. Depending on the user’s Chrome settings, Google may sync this value between signed-in Chrome browsers.
• Membership. The Extension creates a random identifier beginning with tppd_. Chrome local storage keeps that identifier and the latest membership response. The identifier is sent to the membership service for checkout and entitlement checks.
• Restore Purchase. If the user chooses Restore Purchase, the entered checkout email is sent over HTTPS to the membership service and Paddle to find a matching purchase for this Extension. The Extension does not save the email locally.
• Network and security. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and normal request metadata to deliver and secure the membership service. Restore Purchase uses the IP address for short-term abuse prevention.

Payments

The Extension includes five free successful HD profile picture views. The sixth HD view is blocked before the profile picture is returned for display. Lifetime Pro costs US$5.99 as a one-time payment and unlocks unlimited HD viewing and downloads. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.

Paddle provides checkout and may process contact, billing, payment, tax, and transaction information under Paddle’s privacy policy. The Extension and our membership service do not receive or store complete card details.

Refund Policy

To request a refund, email adam@heyis.me from the address used at Paddle Checkout. Include the purchase email and a brief description of the issue so the transaction can be located.

Refund requests are reviewed in good faith and in accordance with applicable law and Paddle’s buyer terms. When Paddle approves a full refund covering the complete transaction, Lifetime Pro access for that transaction is revoked. Pending, rejected, credit-only, or below-total adjustments do not revoke access. Previously used free HD views are not reset after a refund.

Terms of Use

• Use the Extension only for content you are authorized to access and download, and comply with applicable law and website terms.
• The Extension does not bypass private accounts, access controls, or platform restrictions.
• Public profile availability and image resolution depend on the source website and may change without notice.
• Lifetime Pro applies only to this Extension and the purchase associated with the verified product membership.
• The service is provided as available. We may update the Extension to maintain compatibility, security, or policy compliance.
